‘We feel such at ease that Showday properties has executed on the agreement of sale with us as Sellers and safeguarding the deposits protecting both myself as the Seller and the Purchaser. The transfer attorney initially wanted it to be deposited into their Trust account but this is against the law and the requirement of the PPRA to have all deposits with a Property Practitioner. That makes sense because it is the Property Practitioner that has the fiduciary accountable for the property transaction and not the Transfer attorney.’
